Mostly by doing this blog and researching i've learned that you have to dedicate the time and effort to do extensive and detailed research to find good, reliable sources. The blog allows you to get feedback and allows others to input information if they are interested about the same topic so they can see whats being said about the topic. The research allows you to narrow your question and focus on certain points of the arguement or the research might just make you want to change your topic if you feel its not deep enough and you cant discover any good information about your topic.

Most of the resources i've used have confirmed my thoughts on my topic. Most believe that certain stimuli would benefit the general public but the major problem is to only get the positive side effects you'd have to extract certain chemicals and the chemicals that cause the positive side effects also produce the negative side effects so removing these chemicals would therefore render the drug useless. The effects and the amount of the drugs used are related closely so if you correctly monitored the dose depending upon the person using it then you could quite possibly get a majority of positive effects and limit the negative effects received.

I've been researching my topic and i've narrowed it down to just try and figure out the positive and negative effects stimulants can have on both the mental and physical aspects of the human body and if there is a way we can use them to benefit us. I've found that the positive effects of most stimulants are exactly what you'd expect: heightened senses, prolonged focus, and excess energy but the negative side effects seem to counter all of the positves of the drugs. Even in small doses most of these drugs can have a huge effect but if you lower the dosage you consume you also lower the chances of the negative side effects but you also lower the amount of time that you feel the positve side effects. I'm going to keep researching and see if i can figure more and have a little more information to base my paper on because right now i have a small case for my question but its really not a big enough case that it can be taken 100 percent seriously.

I want to do my annotated bibliography on drugs and the mental and physical effects (both positive and negative) it has on the human body but it is such a broad topic and i've found that narrowing it down is quite a challenge. I've been doing research to try and narrow my search to only a couple drugs or chemicals and their effects but even that has turned out to be a challenge. I've decided to spend one more day researching the topic and if i cant narrow my research down to one question then i might just have to find another topic to research.
